Cogito is a Mac-native Markdown editor for folder-first notes. The beta ships as a signed DMG for first installs, with a zip kept alongside it for the current manual-update path.

Recommended for first installs. Open the DMG and drag Cogito into /Applications.

The installer button will go live as soon as the hosted DMG URL is filled in.

Updates

Manual updates for now. First installs should use the DMG; existing testers can replace the app bundle from the zip.

1. Download the DMG.

2. Open it and drag Cogito into /Applications.

3. Launch Cogito from Applications.
