How to send feedback from inside Cogito, what to include, and what the bounded diagnostic report contains.

Send from the app

For bugs, questions, and feature feedback, the best path is Help > Send Feedback inside Cogito.

It lets you write a message, add screenshots, and include a bounded diagnostic report with useful app and system details. That extra context makes reports much easier to understand than plain email.

Use email only when you cannot open Cogito or cannot send from the app: hello@cogito.md.

What gets included

The in-app report may include your message, contact email, attached screenshots, Cogito version, macOS version, hardware summary, diagnostic logging state, recent support events, workspace/window state, and possible file paths related to the current app state.

It does not automatically include your Markdown note contents, sample files, screen recordings, or larger attachments.

If support asks for more

Some bugs need extra detail. If support asks for diagnostic logging, enable it, reproduce the issue, then send a fresh report from Help > Send Feedback.
