HTML support, built-in feedback, and editor polish
Send feedback and diagnostics from inside Cogito, render a safe subset of inline HTML in preview, plus a steadier typing caret and sharper LaTeX rendering.
New
- Inline HTML in preview. Markdown notes now render a sanitized HTML subset — inline tags, links, images, figure captions, and comments — so notes copied from Obsidian and similar tools display the way you wrote them.
- Send feedback from inside Cogito. Write a message, attach screenshots, and ship a bounded diagnostic report straight to support.
Improved
- Calmer, steadier editor. A focused round of polish, guided by amazingly detailed reports from my power users. So a lot less unwanted scroll jumps, caret hops, and small visual glitches that could surface while typing, especially in longer documents.
- Inline LaTeX matches your body text size and keeps variables clearly readable in preview.
- Tighter spacing around inline code pills.
- Wrapped lines in nested callouts stay aligned with their parent indent.
- Semantic Related Notes finds
qmdinstalled via pnpm-managed Node.
Fixed
- Cleaner layout for windows without any Locations set up — the tab strip no longer overlaps the traffic lights.
- Pasting text multiple times in a row keeps each paste as its own
Cmd-Zstep.
