Auto-update links after renames, and editing improvements
Rename or move notes, attachments, and folders, and let Cogito update related links across your Location. Plus smarter code block indentation and more.
New
- Update references after renaming. When you rename or move a note, attachment, or folder inside Cogito, a confirmation sheet now offers to update Markdown links, reference definitions, wiki links and embeds, and inline HTML attributes across the rest of the Location.
- Detect bare URLs in Source. A new default-off Editor setting highlights plain
httpandhttpsURLs in source mode with link tint, underline, Cmd-click, and Open/Copy from the context menu.
Improved
- Smarter indentation inside code blocks. Pressing Return inside fenced Markdown code now carries the current line's leading whitespace forward, and Tab/Shift-Tab also infers the correct indentation unit.
Fixed
- Inline math stays on the line grid. Paragraphs that mix
$...$and prose no longer pick up extra line height, so wrapped lines line up cleanly with the rest of the document. - Task checkboxes inside tables. Markdown tables that include
- [ ]or- [x]task markers now render as preview checkboxes you can click to toggle, instead of showing the raw text. Formatted copy and export include the checkbox inputs too.
