Proper Settings, richer exports, and workspace context
A full Settings window, PDF and HTML export, and sync-aware sidebar badges make Cogito more capable and context-aware.
New
- Settings window with three tabs — General (appearance, launch at login), Editor (typography, line height, body width), and About — replaces the old single-pane settings
- Export and Copy As workflows: export to PDF, source, or HTML from the File menu or sidebar context menu, and copy as clean HTML or formatted text for pasting into other apps — export quality on par with iA Writer and Ulysses
- Workspace context badges on each sidebar Location show detected Git, iCloud, Syncthing, Dropbox, and other sync services (and their status) at a glance
- Sync conflict detection quietly surfaces Syncthing, Dropbox, and Obsidian Sync conflict copies with an orange dot in the sidebar without cluttering Quick Open or wiki-links
- Support pane in Settings with a one-tap feedback email that includes helpful diagnostic context
Improved
- Quick Open surfaces smarter default suggestions by blending recent use, recent edits, pins, and current Location context instead of a thin recents list
- Clicking a sidebar item no longer auto-scrolls the tree away from where you were browsing
Fixed
- Backlink rebuilds after saving no longer block the main thread causing freezes
